End User License Agreement

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS LICENSE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SOFTWARE.

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and MOTHblank ("Licensor") for NotaSegura (the "Software"). By installing or using the Software, you agree to this EULA.

1. License Grant

MOTHblank grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use NotaSegura for personal or internal organizational use, subject to this EULA and applicable platform terms.

2. Restrictions

You may not redistribute, sublicense, rent, resell, or commercially exploit the Software or its original assets without prior written permission. You may not copy, modify, create derivative works from, decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the Software except where applicable law expressly permits it.

3. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. MOTHblank retains all rights, title, and interest in its original code, interface, designs, documentation, and other original materials, except for third-party components used under their respective licenses.

4. Your Records and Documents

You retain responsibility for the purchase records, receipt images, PDFs, notes, and other content that you add to NotaSegura. MOTHblank does not claim ownership of your personal records.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to store, export, and share documents you add to the Software.

5. Backup and Data Responsibility

NotaSegura provides local storage and encrypted portable backup features as organizational tools. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate copies of important records and for protecting exported backup files and any recovery credentials associated with them.

No software can guarantee against all forms of device loss, storage failure, corruption, deletion, or user error.

6. Reminders and Dates

Warranty dates, payment reminders, OCR suggestions, and other organizational information are provided as convenience features. You remain responsible for verifying dates, amounts, warranty conditions, payment obligations, and the accuracy of imported or recognized information.

7. Updates and Changes

The Software may receive updates that add, remove, or modify features, supported document formats, storage behavior, backup formats, compatibility, and technical requirements.

8. Termination

This license remains effective until terminated. Your rights may terminate if you materially violate this EULA. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software.

9. No Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. MOTHBLANK DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT OCR, REMINDERS, DOCUMENT IMPORT, BACKUP, RESTORE, OR OTHER FEATURES WILL ALWAYS BE ERROR-FREE OR SUITABLE FOR EVERY LEGAL, FINANCIAL, WARRANTY, OR RECORD-KEEPING PURPOSE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MOTHBLANK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, INCLUDING LOSS OF RECORDS, MISSED DEADLINES, OR RELIANCE ON INCORRECTLY RECOGNIZED INFORMATION.

11. Privacy

Your use of NotaSegura is also subject to the NotaSegura Privacy Policy.
