Privacy Policy
MOTHblank ("we", "us", or "our") develops and operates Phosphor Archive, an Android game. This policy explains what information is processed by the game and by the third-party services it integrates.
MOTHblank does not operate a separate user-account or analytics backend for Phosphor Archive. Most game state is stored locally, while optional Google Play Games features can synchronize progression through Google's services.
1. Local Game Data
Campaign progress, unlocks, settings, preferences, meta progression, and other save-state information are stored locally on your device. The Android application is configured with application backup disabled.
Removing the app or clearing its application data can remove local progress, except where a separate Google Play Games cloud snapshot is available.
2. Google Play Games
Phosphor Archive integrates Google Play Games Services. If your account is authenticated, the game may:
- submit scores to the Endless leaderboard;
- unlock and display achievements;
- open Google Play Games leaderboard and achievement interfaces; and
- read and write a Google Play Games snapshot containing player progression for cloud synchronization.
Cloud-save data is stored through Google Play Games, not on a separate MOTHblank account server. Google may process account identifiers, gameplay/service activity, and related technical information according to its own privacy policies.
3. Advertising
The Android version uses Google AdMob for banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising privacy and consent choices where applicable. Rewarded ads can provide in-game benefits such as a revive or shop-related reward after the advertising SDK confirms the reward.
The game requests current UMP consent information before initializing the advertising SDK and only enables ad requests when UMP reports that ads may be requested. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, Phosphor Archive exposes one in the Options screen.
Google and its advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, device information, ad interactions, diagnostics, approximate location derived by their services, and related information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization where permitted by your settings and applicable law.
You can manage advertising controls through the in-game privacy options when available and through your Android/Google account settings.

Phosphor Archive does not ask users to provide a name, email address, date of birth, or other direct profile information to MOTHblank. Third-party Google services integrated into the Android build operate under Google's own account, age, advertising, and parental-control policies.
6. Retention and Deletion
Local data can be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. Google Play Games snapshots, leaderboard information, achievements, advertising data, and other information held by Google are subject to Google's account and retention controls.
Because MOTHblank does not operate a separate Phosphor Archive account database, requests concerning data stored directly by Google generally need to be handled through the relevant Google account or service controls.
7. Security
We design the app to minimize first-party data handling. Networked features are provided through Google services. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
8. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when the game, its integrations, or legal requirements change. The revision date above identifies the current version.
